COMMENTS:
1. Paragraph (j)(2) describes that accomplishment of ref /B/ SB is considered acceptable for compliance with lubricating of the MLG pivot joints and inspecting the center axles of the MLG as required by paragraph (g) of the AD.
Ref /B/ SB, paragraph1.C describes that incorporation of the changes in accordance with ref /B/ SB and a final, one-time inspection of the pivot joint in accordance with ref /A/ SB, Part 2 is terminating action to the repeat inspections of ref /A/ SB, Part 2. Therefore, ANA would like to request to revise paragraph (j)(2) to include terminating action as described in ref /B/ SB.
2. Currently, new grease MIL-PRF-32014 is accepted to be used in lieu of the existing grease ROYCO-11MS in AMM regardless of accomplishment of ref /B/ SB. ANA has already changed the grease to new MIL-PRF-32014 for all the MLG pivot joints. However, ref /A/ SB describes application of grease with the existing grease (ROYCO11MS) only. ANA would like to request to allow using new grease MIL-PRF-32014 in lieu of the existing ROYCO11MS for accomplishment of ref /A/ SB.
