This is comment on Proposed Rule

Amendments to Class B Airspace: Detroit, MI

View Comment

The proposed changes to Detroit Class B Airspace in my opinion make no sense, and would place a larger burden on GA aircraft. I see no logical reason to raising the ceiling from 8,000' msl to 10,000' msl. Some of the busiest airports in the nation operate with a ceiling lower than 10,000' msl. The proposed changes are confusing, (splitting DTT, and ARB along two lower ceilings) and in my opinion will provide much confusion amongst GA pilots.
