Expansion of the Philadelphia class B to the east would only serve to further congest an already congested and extremely important VFR flyway for northbound and southbound traffic.
The area between A220 and the current Class B airspace would be capped by a 4000 foot shelf forcing all of the traffic in the area into what would be essentially a 3000 ft (vertically) funnel greatly increasing the risk of a collision.
It is my experience that VFR pilots tend to avoid class B airspace when possible and given a choice between requesting a transition or "ducking under" at 3000 ft most pilots would opt for the latter.
Expansion of the airspace to the east would only serve to put GA aircraft closer together in an already congested area.
