This type of inspection is a standard annual inspection step for our aircraft. Since when have the inspections standards for IA's become so low that this must be required by AD?
There are many areas of our aircraft that are:
- hard to reach;
- difficult to see;
- time consuming to expose
Is the FAA headed down a path of requiring an AD inspection on every one of these areas as well?
Since when does a lack of proper inspection and maintanence on a couple of GA airframes (human laziness) justify fleet AD's?
