Regarding B767 series airplane, ANA has 62 airplanes as of October 2 2012. ANA would like FAA to extend compliance date of this AD (77-Mont) to 88-Month (4C Check interval = HMV) to save additional cost and labor hour. Because every stowage bins and some other cabin items (for example, Lavatories, Galleys, etc) which should be removed to get access to applicable area is normally removed at every 4C Check. If we perform this AD work except for the chance of 4C Check (88-month) interval, we need to do additional tasks to get access to applicable areas. It means large costs and labor hours will be required for the most of our sixty-two(62) B767 airplanes. It would be very helpful for us if the compliance date could be extended from 72-month to 88-month. Any courtesies and assistance would be highly appreciated. Thank you very much.
