We just spent a lot of money changing the valves to comply with AD 2008-06-03 that is to be rescinded. What do we do about those airplanes that have complied with AD 2008-06-03 by installing the different valves? If you rescind AD 2008-06-03 completely, we will lose the paper trail for the installation of modified valves. I would like to suggest that you keep the existing part of AD 2008-06-03 for already modified airplanes and establish what needs to be done for those airplanes that had the valves changed because of AD 2008-06-03. I am concerned that a complete rescision will leave mofified airplane in a kind of "limbo" about these valves. Maybe you could make a revision to AD 2008-06-03 to stop further valve changes and to allow the previously installed new valves to remain in service at this time.
