APB has reviewed the NPRM and the Boeing Service Bulletin 767-57A0102, R4, November September 20, 2011 and has determined the installation of winglets per STC ST01920SE impacts the NPRM/AD. The FAA is proposing to supersede AD 2009-18-02 with this new NPRM/AD. APB has applied for, and has received approval for a global Alternative Method of Compliance (AMOC) to specific sections of FAA AD 2009-18-02, associated with installation of the 767-300ER Winglet STC. APB intends to apply for a global Alternative Method of Compliance to specific sections of the new NPRM/AD when released.
