Dear Sir/Madam
Having experianced the very condition that this AD is meant to address,I can asure you that the blade condition is caused by the incorrect installation of the Blade damper units.
I purchased my Helicopter and had a blade crack here in the UK and took it to the an air investigation inspector who confirmed that the person I had bought the Brantly from had rigged the Blades incorrectly.
Possibly a check of all used blades installed intially on a Brantly would be a far better remedy and fairer on owners who currently cant buy new blades.
As an aside the New Zealand Brantly that caused all this from the pictures looks like its been maintained on a farm
Kind Regards Neil Freeman
