NPRM FAA-2012-1107 (2011-NM-216-AD)
RE: par (h)
Par (g)(1) requires inspection to determine if the part number and batch number of the inflatable harness fitted to the oxygen regulator is identified in (in Air Wisconsin's case) Appendix I of Intertechnique S/B MXH-35-241 Revision 2 within 24 months after the effective date of AD.
In paragraph (h), if the inspection performed in par (g)(1) identifies an inflatable harness that is listed in appendix I of Intertechnique S/B MXH-35-241 rev. 2 the part must be replaced before further flight.
If the inspection is performed at 23.9 months after the effective date any inflatable harnesses identified in appendix I of the S/B would still be in service until nearly the end of the 24 month period.
Therefore Air Wisconsin Airlines requests the "Before further flight" replacement be stricken and replaced with the time specified in par (g)(1), e.g. Within 24 months after the effective date of AD, replace any inflatable harness identified.....
Air Wisconsin Airlines requests that references to Intertechnique S/B MXH-35-241 revision 2, dated May 19, 2011 be changed to MXH-35-241 revision 3 dated June 23, 2011 for all paragraphs referencing same.
RE: par (l)
With S/B MXH-35-241 being at revision 3, Air Wisconsin Airlines requests that compliance with Intertechnique S/B MXH-35-241 Revision 2, dated May 19, 2011 be added to par (l), "Credit for Previous Actions".
RE: par (n)(1)(ii)
Air Wisconsin Airlines requests this paragraph be modified to reference Intertechnique S/B MSH-35-241 Revision 3, dated June 23, 2011.
