Paragraph (g)(1) of NPRM 2011-NM-194-AD limits the method of compliance for Model 737-600, 700, 700C, -800, and -900 to Boeing Service Bulletin 737-53-1244, Revision 5, dated July 27, 2011 only. WestJet has previously completed the specified modifications on all of our effective aircraft per Boeing Service Bulletin 737-53-1244, dated April 17, 2003, or Boeing Service Bulletin 737-53-1244, Revision 1, dated May 29, 2003 and believes earlier revisions of the Service Bulletin should be an acceptable means of compliance since each successive revision states "No more work is necessary..." for any of the previous revisions.
