This AD does not appear to provide a means to allow the APU to operate in the event of an APU battery failure. Without the APU battery backup power from the APU is lost. How can the FAA justify approval of a "fix" that does not provide an alternate means to keep the APU running in the even of failure of the APU battery? This would appear to be ill advised, particularly for ETOPS flights.
