I work for a construction company and am opposed to executive order 13502 encouraging project labor agreements on large scale construction projects. We and other contractors have little trouble staffing projects in the current environment. I already spend most of my time on paperwork and rules as opposed to building projects. This would make things worse. We have a loyal and happy workforce. More regulations and implementing restrictive work rules would make projects cost more money and make it more difficult to get projects done on time. I cannot fathom why this would be encouraged after seeing what unions have done to the American auto industry. Let free enterprise work.
