FAR Case 2010-001 The government’s new green contracting rule represents the kind of forward thinking that’s much needed to get this country moving in the right direction toward a more sustainable future. Requiring federal agencies to purchase green products and services not only promotes greater energy efficiency, but it also provides a strong model for the private sector and regular consumers to adopt more green purchasing practices.
