Federal Acquisition Regulation: Sustainable Acquisition; FAR Case 2010-001

These new sustainability requirements represent a big step forward for America by moving the country towards greater energy efficiency. We strongly agree with the new rule and support the government’s leadership. The fact that these Federal agencies are holding themselves to this rule’s higher standard will undoubtedly help new green building technologies gain faster traction in both commercial and consumer markets.
