National Instant Criminal Background Check System

View Comment

I think the National Instant Criminal Background Check system is a good rule that should become a rule. Because I don’t think just anyone should be allowed to have a firearm. I understand that in American we have the right to bare-arms, but there has to be limits. Yes, Giving states and local criminal justice agencies access the NICS Index in the course of issuing a permit or license, tribal criminal justice agencies should also be permitted to conduct NICS background checks to support their issuance of firearms related permits and licenses, also allowing agencies to have authorized access to the FBI-maintained NCIS Index to permit background checks for the purpose of disposing of firearms in the possession of a criminal justice agency. I feel that this should become a rule, I think there would be a lot less deaths by firearms.
