I STRONGLY OPPOSE this Proposed Rule and any and all new gun/gun control laws. Enforce the 4000+ federal gun laws currently on the books. We are fully aware that enforcement of such laws is down 40% under the current administration. In closing, I, respectfully, request the DOJ and DHS to explain to the American public why the federal government believes semi-automatic firearms and 30-round magazines are NOT suitable for civilian personal-defense in light of the fact that DHS has recently ordered 7000 semi-automatic firearms (AR-15s) and 30-round magazines for the very same purpose of personal-defense.
