It is imperative that not only gluten, but also MSG in all forms, as well as GMO ingerdients be labelled. There is a genetic component to gluten allergy, and people that can't have gluten must be informed if the food contains it. In addition, many more people are becoming sensitized to gluten, due to the foreign genes inserted into GMO plants. There has been an explosion of gluten allergies in the last 12 years; one doctor estimates a 20-fold increase. Suffice it to say, multiple people are getting gluten allergies due to GMOs; therefore all GMO-containing foods should also be labeled. Our healthcare system is already overburdened, and the country is in debt. Labeling as suggested will cut down on the use of scarce healthcare resources.
