As the mother of a daughter with Celiac Disease I know the importance of having clear, concise labeling on ALL products - not only wheat free. My daughter suffers from severe stomach pain and abdominal discomfit if she mistakenly gets gluten in her diet. Manufacturers already know the components of their products, would it be so difficult label gluten-free if they already know there isn't any wheat, rye, oats or barley in the product. The previous labeling law made a tremendous difference in my daughter's diet. Lets take it one step further and start labeling products gluten free.
