This new requirement should be put into place immediately! I am currently breastfeeding and I have had to ask my son's Pediatrician for clarification on a couple of prescriptions to make sure they would not harm him. My husband and I are very careful about what we give our child, including what may pass from me to him. This requirement would make it easier for mothers like me to feel safer about what we may have been prescribed. It may also make some mothers think before they take something and/or ask for something milder that won't do as much harm, and hopefully no harm at all. It's important that we do everything we can for a good quality of life for a person who can’t yet.
