I am very, very concerned about safety issues with FDA-regulated products, abandoned product applications, and the communication of FDA decisions about pending product applications. It is unbelievable that Congress has allowed the FDA to be set up to be so greatly influenced by the special interests of pharmaceutical companies. Many changes need to be made to this organization to eliminate these many conflicts of interest. Many of us feel that the FDA no longer protects the American public because they are so greatly influenced by pharmaceutical companies.
