Electric shock is torture. I was collapsing from the grief of not being loved and subjected to electric shock. Just as after any horrible too horrible to be real, I had hysterical amnesia, which psychiatry touts as relieved mental illness... until the flashbacks... and the explosion into suicidal and homicidal terror and despair. After psychiatrized for 31 years, an emergency room nurse said, “Go to Alcoholics Anonymous, they teach people how to get well there.” The first “word” of Step 1 is “We.” I was no longer a worthless non-person. With adults of love and truth, it only took me 6 months to work through the past mental and psychiatry's physical abuse and learn the mental tools needed to live in this world and enjoy it. With love and truth, developing my real self, I was an equally worthy person, having a nonviolent adult mind, serving others as myself.
