I am against the new regulation for new tobacco products presented by the Food and Drug Administration. Why do we have guidelines for introducing new tobacco products when it is proven that these products kill? They cause cancer and breathing problems. I do not understand why the government would allow such things to be legal even though they destroy people’s lives. Seems like the government is a business that looks out for the best interest of money and not saving people’s lives.
Why would any company want to be exempt from revealing the amount of tobacco in a product? If it is a tobacco product that has the tobacco drug in it, then market and label it as it should be. There should not be an exemption for the product. Manufacturers in no way, shape, or form should be allowed to be exempt from telling the truth about what is in these products.
The Federal Drug Administration is creating this rule in order to meet the requirements set forth by the Tobacco Control Act. If this proposed regulation goes forth, manufactures of this harmful substance will be able to ask for a exemption based on the fact that their product does not have as much tobacco in it as other products. I think that tobacco should be pulled off the market because it is addictive and harmful to people and their health.
