For risk assessment and to reduce duplication of information entry, FDA may consider to establish entry fields of reference numbers, e.g. to food safety certificates or audit and testing data, with the ability to hyperlink that information to other system databases of public and private operators. Special data access rights on the original server to required information can be granted to FDA by the owner or submitter of the reference number. This way, the amount and timeliness of the information can be granted, and a connection to the FSMA data for food safety reqirements.
