I am an allergy nurse and I work for an Otolaryncologist. We see many patients with sinus disease that is aggravated by inhalant allergies. Most have been helped by immonotherapy, and can survive the season changes. I feel it would be a great disservice to these people to remove Non-Standardized Allergenic extracts from the market. Many sinus infections are caused by molds and with mold immunotherapy I have patients who have been free of sinus infections for years!! Many of our patients can not take part in normal family outings due to pollens, dust, animals, and molds. After being desensitized they are able to take part in these family activities.
