After 25 years of growing vegetables with surface water (with no incidents)your new regs will cause me to have to install a water treatment facility if I wish to continue growing. I do not find that the business is profitable enough to support this additional expense. The end result of your regs will cause more consolidation in the industry as smaller producers are shut out. Consolidation is the biggest problem there is with food saftey and security. Small growers feeding local populations limit any widespread contamination problems. These new regs will ultimatley benefit only the large producers by getting rid of the competition. I will be leaving the business.
