Hello I found this form posted to an online forum. I am an electronic cigarette user. I was able to use electronic cigarettes to get away from smoking plant matter around 4 years ago as my first try and I am still using e-cigarettes today. I believe they are saving and WILL save my life.
I am writing you because I truly believe in electronic cigarettes as a way to stop using combusted tobacco leaf as a means to ingest my life-long addiction, nicotine. I truly believe that the propylene glycol and/or vegetable glycerine & water vapor in my e-cigarettes are, if not harmless, MUCH safer than smoke.
Smoking gave my father lung cancer and killed him when I was in the 2nd to 3rd grade. I saw that and became numb. I ended up using tobacco cigarettes myself out of middle school in an attempt to feel closer to my father.
I am now older and I like to think I am wiser. I think e-cigs WILL SAVE LIVES. That is a HUGE statement to make but I know in my heart and my mind that it is true. E-cigarettes ARE and will, SAVE LIVES.
I do not believe there could be many negative side effects from inhaling the propylene or vegetable glycerine vapor and I believe that we will see far less side effects than w/smoking. With that said, even if there were side effects found, you DO NOT *HAVE* to inhale with e-cigarettes, because the nicotine is readily absorbed via the mouth and throat with this type of nicotine delivery device. So the lungs do not have to be utilized.
With that said, I am writing this to add to the numbers of people that are in support of e-cigs. Please do not take this miracle away from us and please do not harm or shut down the many small mom&pop businesses that deal with e-cigs. The e-liquid standards association will hopefully help with the mom&pop shops I buy from putting out consistent products. PLEASE, do not dramatically change our new way of life. E-cigarettes are a blessing for us. My father is looking down at me with his heart thr
