This comment is in support of the MUTCD revisions. Last night the Iowa caucus supported Barack Obama as the Democratic candidate for president. In my opinion it shows that the US recognizes that the country is in a transition from the 20th Century to the 21st Century. The proposed changes in the MUTCD reflect the realities of 21st Century road use. There will be those who support what has been the rules for the last 75 years and oppose change. The revisions recognize that road use today is different than the last century, and that the MUTCD needs to reflect current realities.
