Strongly agree with elimination of sign retro-reflectivity compliance dates except for the signs proven toimprove safet such as chevrons on rural roadway curves and object markers. I 30 years I have never come across an accident case where retroreflectivity of a sign was a contributing factor to an accident in the urban areas. These cases are rare anyway. All of our intersections and points of conflicts are well lit by street lights. Money should be spent on elements causing the bulk of injury and fatal crashes.
