Hours of Service of Drivers

I want to commend the FMCSA for allowing these common sense rules to stand as they were originally introduced. The 11 hour day makes perfect sense since it allows me adequate time to drive the miles needed to complete my trips. I also like the 34 hour restart provision. After this amount of time off duty, I am fully rested. I also like the no electronic log requirement since it allows those carriers with great safety records the option to not spend the money to install electronic recorders. Keep the hours of service just as they are.
