I would like to comment and say, the new hours of service for motor carriers are overkill. Completely unnecessary. The existing rules and regulations were completly adequate. This should not be a one size fits all change in regulations. The whole industry is being cited for the carelessness and irresponsibility of a few individuals that shouldn't have been given commercial drivers license in the first place. In closing I would like to say this is going to hurt the industry as a whole and should be immediately terminated. Thank you for your time in reading this.
