to whom it may concern: i've been out here now for quite some time,by here i mean the "road".I'm okay with the hos staying where they are today with the 34hr reset and the 10/14.However,with equipment and roads being better than ever,I fail to see why Washington would not consider relaxing most of the regulations i.e. 8hrs off with a 16hr day and eliminating the 70hrs all together.There is no reasonable explanation why,as an over-the -road driver,we should not be able to work 7,8, or even 10 consecutive days.It ruins families causes depression etc. If you were to maintain a required 10hr break,which for me is too long,I would then propose that you eliminate the 70 or 80 rules
