I was a diabetic Type1 insulin requiring driver of an interstate licensed type vehicle. 30 years and a little more,to date. I enjoyed the experience although, not incident bound. A lot of experience, good reflexes, exersize, physical movement, proper breaks and of course the fact a scheduled diet are the requirements for any day in the life. This I know. Thou a little hard to relate to by a lot of friends, reletives and co-workers. but without a doubt a strict demand. and some times even a demerit, way of being. I was 28 when diagnosed and was prescribed this, and worked hard ever since. I feel I know both ways of life and am very greatful for that, and thats what keeps the wheels rolling. Routine, and compliance, schedule and fixture to the subjects. After all that, weight and endurance are my only prominate goals. I wish all others that can relate to these words will and show regards to the life that is a god send.
