I can appreciate the dangers of having unhealthy people behind the wheel of a semi completely. However the people in question are usually in this condition due to years of faithful service to the companies such as myself and my companion.In 20 years I never came across a truck stop or truck terminal for that matter, that had a gym or exercise class in it for the drivers. In reading this proposition I see plans for money being spent training many individuals in the execution of our cdl s.But what,if anything, do you plan for re-training us loyal drivers now that you want to cast us out like yesterdays garbage? Dont complain about the housing crisis when the 2 bread winners in this home get stamped defective,damaged goods and cannot pay our bills.I wonder if you have any concept of just how many drivers your talking about discarding? Furthermore the drivers now have medical insurance through their employer to take care of their health. Once theyve been discarded, they will also be told they have pre exsisting conditions and are not eligible for private insurance.How do they get their perscriptions? Then all will be on the unemployment line, food stamp line,and medicaide line. Then you will all be complaining about how your a taxpayer and are sick of paying to support us, when your the very ones putting us, and our families who depend on us, in this position.If your gonna take away our cdls you need to consider retraining us
