Please do not burden the trucking industry with any additional fees, taxes or regulations. The proposal to increase UCR fees over 100% in unconsciable in any environment, but particularly in this recession. Businesses are failing at alarming rates, unemployment has sky-rocketed and consumers lack confidence to purchase. Please stop taxing and regulating us out of business. The proposed increase will cause more trucking companies to go out of business, and others to continue with lay-offs of employees. Trucking is vital to our economy. Without trucks our country will shut down in a short period of time. Please do not put additional burden on our industry.
