I operate a vacuum truck and I am often required to spend hours and sometimes days waiting on location before my services are needed. My truck is equipped with a sleeper. In my sleeper I have a microwave, refrigerator, satellite TV and a portable gas grill. I keep enough food and drinks to last a week. While I am waiting I am in no way on duty. I am chillin in my sleeper watching TV and pigging out! I have always used the 5th line on my log book to track this time. I am waiting at a gas well but not working. I believe that my Vac truck is specialy fitted for working oil/gas wells. Could my truck be used for anouther purpose? Sure it could...but its not. If you take the 5th line away from me I guess I will just use sleeper berth time....cuz that is where I will be....chillin!
