I am glad to see the increase in healthy foods on the new WIC package. I am especially glad to see the decrease in formula to breastfeedng mothers. I hope WIC will become "Baby Friendly" and transition to the elimination of formula from the WIC package except for medical reasons. The amount of money saved by pushing breastfeeding would be astronomical, since there would be so many more really healthy babies with less preventable diseases. Breast milk IS the first "immunization" for a baby. Thank you for your work on this. Kathleen Robbiano, RN, PHN, CNM
