I am finally glad to see that the government is finally doing something about this country's children. Recent research has shown that America and Mexico have the highest rates in obesity in the country. Mexican rates are 30% high, and the American rate is 28% high. Surely, the rates for children are high. As being in high school, i have noticed that there are many students at school who seem obese, not to seem mean in any way. I currently live in the State of Georgia. Just about a year ago or so, I have seen the obesity rates in the country, and Georgia is ranked number 2. Even though this does not mean that the entire country itself is obese, it is concerning that the rates are this high. The children are way too young to be this way. In addition, the article states that this does not require or apply to the parents of the children. It is their choice to decide whether their child has a healthy lifestyle or not. And I completely agree. However, it is the school and the government's obligation to make sure that the children in this country live a very healthy lifestyle.
