Allowing four replacement cards is insane!!! Why are these cards not treated like cash or a gift card? In other words, you lose it, it is gone and not replaced. I support two cards per household, period. That way spouses with overlapping duties are covered, as are caregivers for disabled or children. If one gets lost, there is still a backup. Four replacements??? That is just grossly irresponsible. In my opinion, two cards per household max. Also, if even one of those is lost, require an inperson meeting with the appropriate agency. This policy is just mindblowing; so, it needs to be addressed and tightened even more than is being recommended.
