Our WIC participants need the EBT system in place as soon as possible. It will help reduce the stigma and difficulties in using paper checks for WIC benefits. Many who would benefit from the program are not using it as they find the paper checks cumbersome and embarrassing to use. I would think that the amoung of paper saved would make the EBT system cost effective. Please...let's get this system going in all states....the sooner the better!
