Waiver Petition Docket Number FRA–2010–0135 Please extend the railroad quiet zone. The constant train whistles are lowering our property values. I have personally witnessed more than a dozen prospective home-buyers decide not to purchase in our neighborhood because of the loud train whistles that blew when they were touring the houses. The whistles are loud and the durations of the blasts are excessive. We are awakened by them every night. We have to put phone-calls on hold while they sound. Please help make this area a more inviting place to live, and help us maintain our property values. Keep in mind that the higher our property values are, the more we pay in property taxes. Sincerely, Chris Nash
