I completely understand that this Act Implementation is trying to create jobs for the citizens, and we need jobs right now since there are large percentages of people out of work again since the recession. Also, it would be a good way to get the economy back on its feet since when people work they have money and people that have money buy things, for instance houses, cars, businesses (small or large), and shop more in general, and that is a great way to boost the economy. However, the cost of it is $8 billion, instead of fixing something that is, in my opinion, particularly a cosmetic thing and unnecessary right now in our economy, that money could go to other uses like feeding the homeless, more help for low income families, more support aide to help get people back on their, or maybe even just paying of some the national debt that this country is facing and that would help our economy as well. Like I stated above I understand that it is going to create more jobs and that will help the citizens, but at the same time our economy should not be based mainly on the amount of things that are being sold to make up our economy.
