I see no reason to remove the LO-Doc section of the regulations as they still serve a purpose for those requests over $35,000 for current borrowers who pay on time and need direct annual operating loan assistance. These may only be a small number in the big picture, but why waste money reprinting handbook pages to remove this program when its already in place and can still be used at no cost in leaving it in the regulations. It makes no sense to remove it at the cost of having to reprint all handbook references to it. Paper costs money and toner isn't cheap. It costs nothing to leave it in place but it does cost to remove it.
