I oppose USDA’s December 5, 2011 Federal Register proposal to curtail review of most meat and poultry labels. We would like to retain our existing right to submit our labeling materials for guidance, review and approval to USDA’s Labeling and Program Delivery Division (LPDD) whenever we wish. This includes labeling that may be generically approved, and all eight mandatory features on labels that must be submitted.
