What a crying shame, while millions of animals are routinely, legally mistreated, brutalized in industrial animal production, transport and slaughter, that the sick, weak and injured (used up dairy cows, exhausted animals on their last leg) "Downers" are viciously, shamefully abused as they are drug to their horrendous deaths in this vile system. The least our government could do is give these animals who have lived in misery all their lives in the Agiculture system, and are discarded like trash for slaughter, to extend some compassion here! The public is waking up to the extent of cruelty that exists in modern animal agriculture and are ashamed of our government's betrayal to the creatures who provide nutrition to our nation. Shame! Please have a heart, help these animals at least have a humane exit from the miserable life our society condemed them to.
