Requirements for the Disposition of Cattle That Become Non- Ambulatory Disabled Following Ante-Mortem Inspection

As a consumer and concerned citizen, I urge the USDA to adopt the proposed rules. All downed cattle should be excluded and humanely euthanized on the spot, even if they become downed after inspection at slaughterhouses. I encourage the FSIS to extend the ban to include all types of downed livestock. Thank you.
