we should not be importing any meat from any other country. veal -dont people know the horror of raising veal. the little baby calf is taken from its mother and kept in a dark place and fed everything but its mothers milk. and then it is killed. it is treated as nothing. nobody should be eating veal at all. if people have to eat meat, all meat should be labelled. it is clear mad cow and many other diseases from animals is rampant because of the inhumane ways that animals are being raised all over this world. america has very very horrible rules that are laxly enforced for raising animals for meat. look at the video of the humane society which showed poor downer cows being waterboarded, electroshocked, trampled by forklifts when they were obviously sick and unable to move. this is the meat being fed to people in the us. this needs to stop. those poor animals dont have the chance of a decent life in any country in this world with the present food system. i resent this. i will object to this forever. none of god's creatures deserve what is going on in the present food system.
