What I comment is those proposed rules are very helpful and useful for the future importation regulations. There are two big themes of FSIS proposed, first is concisely, and the other is enforcement. Such suggestion could help the process of importation products be simple and effective. Meats, poultry and eggs are big part of human daily needs; its makes a decision on a part of nutrition that human absorbs in every day. Therefore, to guarantees the quality of them are very important and necessary, especially for those importation products: poultry’s health, the process of slaughter, standard of meats and eggs, each step is important with each single piece of meats and each egg. Furthermore, since the bird flu is found, the Department of the Food Safety and Inspection Service should to monitor importation products preciously. Therefore to correct and to improve the rules of the importation products are very necessary. Furthermore, because there is a large supply of meats and eggs to the society, focus on the each standard will costs too much time on the process of the importation; it makes the Department of Food Safety and Inspection Service cannot spend a long time on the inspects of each single products, but FSIS would not relax vigilance. To complete on both sides, the proposed rules they made will work this problem out. To propose with 372.2(a)(3) and 381.196 (a)(3) rules will not only to save more time by the inspection of products importation, but also to guarantees the quality of the importation products. Also, from other proposed amendments in the documents; to merge the regulation of the meats importation and the regulations of poultry importation becomes one rule is makes the rule consciously and easier to follow. Therefore, proposed rules from FSIS are very necessary to the society, because its can completes the regional rules concisely and perfectly, its can make stuff control the importation products faster and easier.
