I reviewed the proposed rules posted in the Federal Register Vol. 77, No. 81 dated 4/26/12 and I believe that there is an error in the answer to a question on page 24874. The question is whether establishment employees will look inside the bird as part of their sorting responsibilities. I believe the answer may describe the on-line inspector duties, not that of establishment employees. If plant sorters do not look inside the bird or at the viscera, then condemnable conditions will not be detected.
