Chickens are already some of the most miserable livestock. Now you would do even less to prevent the way they suffer at slaughter. Increasing the speed can only makes things worse for both the workers and the treatment of the animals. A recent study found fecal material on 60% of chicken for sale in markets. Does that sound like we have a current system that provides safe meat?
