Thank you USFW for your consideration in raising the limit for teal during the early teal season to 6. Over the years blue wing teal numbers have risen and the population is well over the long term average, nearing 9 million in 2012. Typically blue wing teal are not harvested much during the general duck season and raising the limit during the early season would give hunters a greater opportunity to harvest these birds. Thank you.
